Born amongst remote and silent mountains, in the small town of Varese in Northern Italy, AKIRO is a solitary and silent boy. Although he likes to talk, he rarely does so. In the remote outpost of his hometown, his days are spent fantasizing, imagining adventures and distant countries. AKIRO was always told at school that he was a bright boy but “too distracted, too lost in his own world."

AKIRO's self-titled first album is a colourful mix of genres combining jazz, electro, and film music, telling the stories of his boyhood daydreaming.
