
Who We Are
Simmons & McBride are celebrating their nineteenth year of playing music together in the mid-west area. This Kansas City based acoustic duo has been exciting crowds with their versatile and wide ranging musical styles for years. Simmons & McBride were also part of the group that created and produced the now famous "Schottenheimer Polka," which received not only local, but national air play during the Kansas City Chiefs 1993, 1994, and 1995 football seasons.
They have appeared live on National Public Radio, performing for over 175 affiliate stations nationwide, as well as numerous local and regional television and radio appearances. Simmons & McBride also had the honor of performing the national anthem in front of over 75,000 fans, and the viewing audience of ABC's Monday Night Football fans at the Chiefs/Bears NFL Monday Night Football game at Arrowhead Stadium in August of 1993.
