My first album of 14 piano-based alternative/rock original songs, 'Wall Dreams', was very minimalist (mostly just me and the keys and your ears) and has its very small audience, but that select group really listened, and I am very thankful about that. The songs are very intimate and create unique visions in each listener's head. The songs on this second album, 'Life Inside the Woodwork', have more stories to tell and prove that, in this day and age, old-school rock n' roll is alive and kicking. There are even more monsters stomping through these tunes. There is percussion on more than half the songs, which is a big departure from the first album. On the other half of the album, a big beautiful beat-up baby grand, that was just the right amount out of tune, gives all the twang that acoustic instruments will always have over the electronics.
