
Seeds of Faith
Contemporary Christian artist, Mark Bailey was raised in Texas, the son of a small town Baptist minister, where he sang in the youth and adult choirs and participated in numerous church musicals while growing up. Excelling at sports as a teenager, he spent two years in Austin, TX attending the University of Texas as a JV basketball player right when the contemporary country music scene was exploding, which had a lasting impact on his music.
Mark has been involved in Contemporary Christian music since moving to California in 1994. He joined Moorpark Presbyterian Church soon after and has been a Praise and Worship leader there ever since, helping to start the contemporary Worship music service in i996. He also served as an elder on Session, the Church's governing body, elected by the congregation.
