Babylon Warchild is a 3-member, organic, live-hiphop band from downtown Toronto. The group is comprised of three unique artists, from diverse backgrounds, brought together through their shared respect and love for hiphop music. Each member brings something different to the table. UNKNOWN MIZERY, emcee, is well known in the Toronto hiphop scene for speaking out about social change and against the oppression of all people. LEGITIMATE, emcee, is a diversely talented emcee/producer known for bone-crushing machine-gun mic presence and a conscious, thought provoking lyricism reminiscent of the 90's golden era. RUMPLESTILTZ, hiphop cello player/producer, brings a brand new sound to any hiphop show, by playing a live string instrument on stage. Using looping pedals, effects, and the help of a DJ, Rumplestiltz can create complex hiphop beats on the fly.
