台湾电音摇滚乐团\r
由瓢虫、锡盘街乐队吉他手琬婷为创作根基，逐步向外扩展的音乐计划。前后两张专辑的助拳乐手几乎全数换血。目前的阵容是琬婷、小美、蔡易达。以电子摇滚曲风为主，现场表演时免不了串接着为数众多的Midi合成器、取样机与苹果计算机。因此，传统的乐手分工在她们身上并不完全适用。\r
曾登陆英国BBC，并三度登上英国著名专业音乐杂志 "The wire"获得高度评价!\r
团名灵感来自西班牙超写实女画家Remedios Varo。\r
VARO was formed by the female guitarist Wan Ting in 2004. She was in one of the Taiwan’s best post-rock bands, Tin Pan Alley.\r
The band name VARO is taken from the Spanish surrealist painter, Remedios Varo, who Wan Ting admires.\r
VARO previously released 2 full albums, both of which are mixtures of post-rock, electro, punk and break-beats. They are musically diverse throughout, full of energetic pop tunes capturing the very powerful and free spirit of Taiwanese youth culture.\r
