It all started back in 1986: at the age of 8 Marco starts taking piano lessons, which will lay the foundations of his musical knowledge. He keeps taking lessons for more than 10 years, but electronic music begins to tempt him when he becomes a dj.
Inspired by the likes of Moby, Orbital and many others he tries to write music with a melodical approach on machines like Technics KN2000 and Yamaha RM1-X, avoiding samplers and making it all from the scratch. This kind of approach will teach him the basis of sequencing and building tracks, but the variety of sounds was not satisfying at all.
Introduced to Pro Tools by his brother, he finds it rather complex and slow; by 2000 he puts his hands on much friendlier Acid which – combined with Soundforge - had an easy way to sample and loop elements.
